Prometheus offers billing support for our clinical laboratory testing. If you or your patients have questions about our services, please call the Billing department at (888) 892-8391. Our professional billing specialists can assist you Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 4:30pm (Closed from 12:00-1:00pm Thursdays).

• Prometheus is a Medicare participating provider.
• As a courtesy, Prometheus can bill the patient’s primary insurance carrier (complete information must be provided), but we cannot predict the level of reimbursement.
• Prometheus may bill your patient for any unpaid balance due to deductibles, co-payments, co-insurance and noncovered services.

Prometheus may have agreements with laboratories in your area which may help lower healthcare costs including out-of-pocket expenses for your patients. To locate a laboratory near you, contact Client Services at (888) 423-5227.
Prometheus also offers reference materials for our laboratory tests including sample insurance correspondence such as Letters of Appeal, Letters of Medical Necessity and Prior Authorization Requests. These materials may be helpful when drafting insurance correspondence for your patient’s based on their unique medical history and condition.
